The Power of Authenticity and Referrals

What caught my attention right off the bat was her emphasis on authenticity and organic growth. She proudly shared that a whopping 100% of her business comes from organic content and agent referrals. Yes, you read that right—no paid ads, just good old-fashioned authentic engagement.

According to Michelle, “Knowing who your avatar is, being consistent, and having an awesome bio that truly represents you are the keys to Instagram success.” And let’s face it, in the world of social media, authenticity is the secret sauce that makes your brand stand out.

Mastering the Art of Instagram

Michelle’s love-hate relationship with Instagram is something many of us can relate to. Despite its ever-changing algorithms and occasional frustrations, she’s mastered the art of Instagram, and she’s here to share her wisdom.

Going live on Instagram can do wonders for your visibility” Michelle revealed. “When you go live with someone, it notifies everyone's audience, potentially gaining you new followers. It’s like a domino effect of engagement.

And guess what? Instagram is not just about pretty pictures. Michelle believes that understanding the platform and your audience is crucial. “If you're not having fun with it, find a platform that you enjoy,” she advised.

Cracking the Facebook Code

Moving on to Facebook, Michelle spilled the beans on her successful Facebook strategy. “I’ve got a couple of Facebook groups” she shared. “One is ‘Women in Real Estate,’ and the other is ‘Boca Raton Live Work Play.’ The key to a thriving Facebook group is the content you share. Make it engaging, relatable, and above all, genuine.”

But that’s not all. Michelle takes it up a notch by repurposing content. “I have content in my ‘Women in Real Estate’ group that I can repurpose into my ‘Boca Raton Live Work Play’ group. It’s all about maximizing your efforts and creating a genuine connection with your audience.”

The Rise of Podcasting and Content Repurposing

Michelle shared how she repurposed her YouTube videos into podcast episodes and articles. “I started making real estate YouTube videos in 2016,” she shared. “I have years of videos that I can now repurpose and leverage to build my brand.”

For YouTube tips she says “On YouTube, audience retention is crucial. The longer people watch, the better it is for your algorithm. By embedding these videos into my articles, I increase my reach and engagement,”.

Building Genuine Relationships in the Real Estate World

One of the most compelling aspects of Michelle’s strategy is her emphasis on building genuine relationships. “Agents often overlook the power of relationships in this business” she said. “Whether it's through Facebook, Instagram, or even CrossFit classes, genuine connections are the backbone of successful real estate ventures.”

She further emphasized, “Sharing is caring in the world of social media. If you see a fellow agent creating great content, share it, engage with it, and even collaborate. The real estate world is vast, but it’s also a close-knit community.”

Embracing Change and Staying Consistent

Michelle’s journey isn’t just about social media—it’s about resilience and adaptability. She candidly shared, “I’ve faced my fair share of challenges, from the 2008 housing crash to personal struggles. But I didn’t let them define me. I adapted, embraced social media, and turned my life around.”

Her advice for fellow agents? “Consistency is key. It took me years to build my social media presence, but it was worth it. Don’t be afraid to experiment, but always stay true to your brand and your voice.”
