What Stock Can You Earn at REAL Broker?
REAL agents can earn stock five ways at the brokerage: the stock purchase plan match, capping shares, attraction shares, the Elite Agent Production Award, and the Elite Agent Cultural Award. One REAL Mortgage adds two more through REAL Originate.
1How Does the REAL Stock Purchase Plan Work?
The stock purchase plan is optional. Before you cap, you can put 5% of each commission toward REAL stock and REAL adds a 10 percent match in shares. After you cap, it’s 10% of your commission with a 15 percent match.
Pre-cap
1-year vest on the match.
Post-cap
1-year vest on the match.
So, let’s say you’ve capped and you buy $1,000 of stock out of your commission. REAL adds another $150 in stock on top.
2How Many Shares Do You Get for Capping at REAL?
When you pay your full annual cap, REAL gives you free shares: 15 shares on the $12K cap, 7 on the $6K cap, 5 on the $4K cap. They vest over 3 years.

3What Do You Get for Attracting Agents to REAL?
When an agent you sponsor closes their first deal, you get attraction shares: 7 shares if you’re on the $12K cap, 3 on the $6K cap, 2 on the $4K cap, vesting over 3 years.
Both you and the agent you attracted need to stay in good standing during vesting.

4 & 5How Do the REAL Elite Agent Awards Work?
Hit Elite Agent and you get $12,000 in stock for the Production Awards, plus $8,000 in stock for the separate Cultural Award.
Qualify by:
- Reaching the $12K cap AND paying $6K in post-cap transaction fees, or
- $500,000 GCI AND 10 transactions at $1M or greater
Bonus: the $285 post-cap transaction fee, which drops to $100 per transaction after hitting Elite Agent. Unlocks revenue share tiers 1–5 for the rest of your capping year.
You can earn an additional $8,000 in stock by hitting the Elite Agent Cultural Award.
For giving back, most commonly teaching a class once a month in REAL Academy.
You must hit Elite first — it is not automatic.
$12,000 in stock for the Production Awards, plus $8,000 in stock for the separate Cultural Award.
Elite is typically 22 transactions after you cap. Both awards vest over 3 years.
How Do Loan Officers and Agents Earn REAL Stock Through REAL Originate?
REAL Originate lets real estate agents and loan officers with an MLO license originate loans through One REAL Mortgage. Agents can join without leaving their current brokerage. 6$15,000 Originate production award
$15,000 in stock when you close $20M in annual loan volume through One REAL Mortgage.
Requires an MLO license.
7$500 Originate attraction award
$500 in stock for every loan officer or agent you attract who closes a transaction within their first 90 days.
Stock grants are subject to vesting and forfeiture under the Loan Officer Awards Stock Grant Program terms.
When Does REAL Stock Vest?
Most REAL stock awards vest over 3 years, and you need to stay in good standing with the company. Shares matched through the stock purchase plan vest in 1 year.
