Most real estate agents think REAL Broker is just another cloud brokerage.
And that could not be further from the truth.
REAL is actually building something completely different than any brokerage that came before it.
And if you’re thinking about joining REAL in 2026, this article could save you weeks of research, because this is going to be the most in-depth breakdown of REAL that you’ll find online.
In this article, I’m going to break down everything you need to know before joining REAL Broker in 2026
REAL Broker’s Business Model
REAL is a technology company at its core, employing more than 140 developers who build its tech from scratch.
This is a meaningful distinction from most traditional brokerages, which typically rely on “bolt-on technology” — a patchwork of third-party tools and vendors stitched together to cover different parts of the business.
With reZEN, agents log in once and have access to every tool they need, from transaction management to marketing resources, all built on a single, unified platform.
Many agents join REAL just to get access to it’s seamless platform and AI technology.
REAL is also publicly traded on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol REAX, which sets it apart from many competitors that remain privately held.
As a cloud-based brokerage, over 35,000 agents have joined REAL Broker across all 50 states, Washington D.C., and six Canadian provinces.
The company’s growth has been substantial: agent count increased by 31%, closed transactions grew by 54%, and gross profit rose 44% in 2025.
REAL closed out the year with zero debt and $50 million in free cash, reflecting a financially stable foundation as the company continues to scale.
One REAL Mortgage and One REAL Title

Beyond its core brokerage services, REAL has built out ancillary offerings with the goal of creating a more seamless home-buying experience for clients.
This includes its own title and mortgage companies, both of which are integrated into the reZEN platform.
The advantage of this integration is real-time visibility across the transaction: when a lender updates the loan status, that information is immediately reflected for the title company and the agent as well.
This removes much of the back-and-forth and delay that typically comes with waiting on updates from separate, disconnected vendors.
Both One REAL Mortgage and One REAL Title offer agents additional streams of income into their businesses as well.
REAL Broker’s Commission Split, Cap and Fees

This technology-first strategy is supported by a team of more than 130 software engineers and developers focused on continuously improving the agent experience. REAL has one of the most generous revenue share systems in the cloud brokerage space. 60% of their monthly revenue goes back to agents in the form of revenue share. This is more than any other cloud brokerage and allows them to pay more per agent than anyone else.
At REAL, you can earn up to $4,000 a year in passive income for every full-capping agent you attract to the company.
How Much Does Revenue Share Pay at REAL?
The percentages are how much you will earn from each commission from the agents you sponsor. This is taken out of the 15% that REAL takes.
- Tier 1: 5%, up to $4,000 per capping agent.
- Tier 2: 4%, up to $3,200 per capping agent.
- Tier 3: 3%, up to $2,400 per capping agent.
- Tier 4: 2%, up to $1,600 per capping agent.
- Tier 5: 1%, up to $800 per capping agent.

Unlocking Higher Tiers Of Revenue Share
By default, only Tier 1 is unlocked (i.e., you can earn revenue share only on agents you directly bring in). To start earning from deeper layers (Tier 2, 3, etc.), you must unlock those tiers through one of three paths:
Producing Tier 1 Agents Path: Recruiting a certain number of producing Tier 1 agents
5 producing Tier 1 agents ➝ unlock Tier 2
15 producing Tier 1 ➝ unlock Tier 3
20 producing Tier 1 ➝ unlock Tier 4
25 producing Tier 1 ➝ unlock Tier 5
Attractor Path: Unlock tiers based on total size of your network (across all tiers), regardless of producing criteria
Tier 3 at 750
Tier 4 at 1,000
Tier 5 at 1,500
Producer Path: Unlock tiers by hitting your own production milestones
When you “cap” (i.e. hit your own $12,000 company dollar cap), you automatically unlock up to Tier 3 for the remainder of your capping year.
If you reach “Elite Agent” status, you can unlock up to Tier 5 for the remainder of your capping year.
REAL Co-Sponsorship
At REAL, a joining agent can actually name 2 agents as their sponsor. By doing this, all revenue share those 2 agents would get is split 50/50. The joining agent will count as .5 of a producing agent for each of his sponsors for the purpose of unlocking tiers of revenue share.REAL Williable Revenue Share
At REAL, any revenue share an agent earns is completely willible. This means agents can build generational wealth and can leave passive income to anyone they designate, including children or grandchildren.REAL Retirement Plan
At REAL, if you are a producing agent for at least 3 years, you can step out of production and continue receiving 60% of your revenue share, be a producing agent for 4 years and receive 80% and if you’re a producing agent with REAL for 5 years, you can stop producing and receive 100% of your revenue shareOther Streams Of Income at REAL
